PERFECT FOR HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE STUDENTS! We are seeking a friendly and efficient retail sales clerk/cashier to join our team. Be part of an exciting and dynamic environment which also includes a fine dining cafe. This $ rate includes a base rate plus tips from the tip pool weekly. If you are a high school or college student, this is the perfect job for you after school some days and a weekend shift or two. We are flexible with schedules.
Responsibilities
– Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
– Accurately process transactions using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
– Sell, package and be familiar with food products for customers.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization. Stock and arrange food products.
– Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change for customers.
Requirements
– We accept students who this may be their first job, to experienced retail cashiers/salespeople who may be looking for something different in a gourmet market.
– Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
– Skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
– A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 – $21.00 per hour
